Ink and crayon on paper
35 x 24cm unframed
I sadly don't see these as often as I would like but this one was so busy trying to get something from the ground I managed to get quite close before it noticed me.
A quick photo snap and you get the view you see!
The paper was a large sheet that had already been created but not used. Black Ink had been dropped from a height to create 'star' like splashes onto wet paper. This was allowed to dry a little before being washed off, where the waterproof ink had dried a pattern was left. The ink that was still wet washed off leaving the centres of the splashes blank and some interesting patterns.
